In terms of materials, laboratory antistatic chairs typically use antistatic leather or conductive fiber fabric as the contact layer. The surface resistivity of these materials is controlled within the range of 10⁵~10⁹ Ω/□, which allows for rapid dissipation of static electricity without posing a risk of electric shock due to excessive conductivity.

Taking a typical product as an example, the seat and backrest are wrapped in high-density foam with antistatic leather. This ensures comfort while creating a static discharge channel through the conductive fibers in the leather. The chair frame is made of carbon steel or aluminum alloy, ensuring structural strength while avoiding the potential static electricity hazards caused by metal oxidation.
